My Life as an Eating Psychology Coach: NaTishia Aromire

What made you want to become an Eating Psychology Coach?

For years I was on the hamster wheel of dieting and weight loss. I was battling diabetes, wearing an insulin pump daily and carrying excessive weight. I always thought it was because I couldn’t find the right diet plan. I wanted freedom from this wheel of life. The moment I paused and allowed God to reveal to me that it wasn’t about the WHAT (what am I eating or what exercises I needed to do?), it was about the WHY? Why was I staying on this wheel? That’s when my greatest transformation into a life of freedom began. I realized not many people were sharing that message. I knew I wasn’t alone in this struggle and I had a desire to share with others but I didn’t know how or if I could. Then Divine Providence lead me to Marc and Emily at IPE and I knew this was no coincidence. Becoming an Eating Psychology coach was a perfect fit.

What do you love about being an Eating Psychology Coach?

I once heard the phrase: “sometimes you don’t realize the weight of something you’ve been carrying until you feel the weight of its release.” As an Eating Psychology Coach, the best reward is knowing that I am supporting, encouraging and inspiring others in their release and having a front row seat to their transformation.

What does your practice look like?

My clients are currently women and teen girls and pre & post bariatric patients. I currently provide personal and small group coaching in person and online. I also host live workshops and events.

How did your education at the Institute prepare you to work successfully with clients?

A quote I love is “When the student is ready the teacher will appear.” I had a desire to have a freedom-based business, but I didn’t know how or where to begin. The education I received at IPE provided the framework and a foundation of knowledge for what I thought were just my personal struggles. It also helped me to identify in concrete and clinical terms how my struggle can be the gateway to my freedom and the freedom of others.

What was your favorite aspect of the Training?

I was very impressed and pleased with how each class module experience was detailed, organized, and full of content. The live teleclasses were another high point because Marc took his time to answer every question and we didn’t feel like we were just numbers in a class. We were engaged in a discussion that revealed his passion for this work which was infectious. However, my favorite aspect was the Live Event. It was an experience that brought it all home for me. It was inspiring to meet Marc, Emily, the staff, and my fellow coaches and to have a shared experience that we will remember for a lifetime.

How has being an Eating Psychology Coach impacted your professional life/financial well-being?

Starting my practice as an Eating Psychology Coach has opened a door of professional possibilities that I didn’t realize were available. I have now added the monikers Author and Speaker to my title. An important piece of advice I learned in IPE and embraced as a business model is to give my gift and let the practice take its natural course. I will continue to provide true value of service for my clients and everything else will follow.

How has being an Eating Psychology Coach impacted you personally?

I am proud to be an Eating Psychology Coach. I have stepped out on a level of faith that has transformed the way I see my gift in service to others. I am on a journey of Love, Hope, and Transformation and I am dedicated to helping others as God is helping me.

What do you see for yourself in your future as an Eating Psychology Coach – where is your work evolving towards?

The beauty of this work is that as I evolve my practice evolves. I will continue to publish inspirational books that share the message of Love, Hope and Transformation. I also look forward to providing transformational destination retreats. I don’t know what the future holds, but I remain open to the journey. What I do know is that from my most authentic place I will continue to help others discover and live in the freedom of who they were created to be.

Why Would You Recommend the Training to Others?

I highly recommend this Training for those who know that they have a desire to offer a life changing gift to others. The IPE training will provide an opportunity for you to explore, grow, and transform in personal areas that may have been unexplored. In return, you will become a more well equipped and effective healer, coach, counselor and guide for others.

Anything else you’d like to share?

As an Eating Psychology Coach, it is about progress not perfection.
